Writing Fabulous Family Histories lessons
My quest to write family stories lead me to countless classes, lectures, and webinars. A Legacy Family Tree Webinar introduced me to Carol Baxter. I was hooked. Her entertaining presentation exploded with useful content. I wanted more. After reading some of her mesmerizing books, I knew I wanted my stories to have that effect on my readers.
Thank you Carol for creating the Writing Fabulous Family History website. Each course captivates and prepares me for the exercises. Private and group zoom coaching sessions complement the courses and our individual writing projects.
I practice what I learn in all my writing endeavors. A friend’s email reply says it best. “Your pleasures are charming to read. How lovely you thought to share them with me. You describe all with vivid picture-painting, allowing me, your reader, to reside with you. Including pink panther insulation. How darling.”

I have been researching my family history for ten years or more. I have hit many brick walls and hired several researchers and now I have a computer full of data. I want it to be accessible to members of my family in a way that is interesting and not boring to read. I was lucky enough to find Carol’s "Writing Fabulous Family Histories" Website. I took out an annual membership and I haven’t regretted it at all.
Carol’s webinars are entertaining and informative. I am listening to the webinars again and they are still inspirational. Thank you very much Carol for all your hard work.

Some great information here. Good to have this before getting too far into finalising our story writing. I'll definitely be coming back to these webinars.

I’m working hard to listen to as many sessions of Words, Words, Words as I can. I am chuckling to myself that someone who studied Latin, French and German at English “O” level and English Lit at “A” level plus acquired three tertiary qualifications and endured years of report writing for one of the largest corporations in the world, can still get so many “light bulb moments” from your talks. The grammatical structure is reasonably familiar but it is the way that you illustrate how to use different structures to such good effect that has me absolutely wrapped. Loving it!
