Carol's words of writing wisdom
To write an interesting family history or biography or other work of nonfiction,
we don't need to keep adding more and more dry facts.
We need to find the right words to communicate those facts in an interesting way.
Every author has the same words to choose from.
The difference between "boring" and "gripping"
is largely due to the author's choice of words,
and how those words are combined to form sentences, paragraphs, chapters and an entire book.
Hence the Writing Fabulous Family Histories logo:
Teaching you how to write,
not just what to write.
Great job on the Crafting Catchy Titles videos. You are truly a literary alchemist turning lead into gold! You are also the only person I know that can make blood fizz! (as in Chubbie's excitement)

I’m working hard to listen to as many sessions of Words, Words, Words as I can. ... The grammatical structure is reasonably familiar but it is the way that you illustrate how to use different structures to such good effect that has me absolutely wrapped. Loving it!
